His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has issued Royal Decree No. 38/2023.

The decree appoints Omar Said Al Kathiri, Oman’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Spain, as permanent representative of the Sultanate of Oman to the United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) in Madrid.

The World Tourism Organisation is a specialised agency of the United Nations mandated with the promotion of responsible, sustainable and universally accessible tourism.
