{"id":9650,"date":"2023-10-09T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2023-10-09T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/archive.fm.gov.om\/9650\/"},"modified":"2026-03-23T08:59:20","modified_gmt":"2026-03-23T08:59:20","slug":"foreign-minister-meets-swedish-and-croatian-counterparts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.fm.gov.om\/en\/9650\/","title":{"rendered":"Foreign Minister meets Swedish and Croatian counterparts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/staging.ofm-archive.com\/ministry\/about-us\/key-figures\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Oman&#8217;s Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi<\/a>, met today with Tobias Billstr\u00f6m, Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Sweden and <a href=\"https:\/\/mvep.gov.hr\/the-ministry\/minister\/22803\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Gordan Grli\u0107-Radman<\/a>, Foreign Minister of the Republic of Croatia.<\/p>\n<p>The meetings took place in the context of the Joint Ministerial Council meeting between the Gulf Cooperation Council and the European Union which is being held in Muscat.<\/p>\n<p>During Sayyid Badr&#8217;s meeting with Mr Billstr\u00f6m, the Ministers discussed bilateral relations and areas of cooperation between Oman and Sweden.<\/p>\n<p>Sayyid Badr stressed the importance of respecting religious beliefs and developing laws that prevent and criminalise inflammatory acts inciting hatred or discrimination against religious beliefs.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-36251 size-fusion-800\" src=\"https:\/\/archive.fm.gov.om\/wp-content\/uploads\/WhatsApp-Image-2023-10-09-at-3.59.13-PM-1.jpeg\" alt=\"Sayid-Bader-With-the-Croatian-Foreign-Minister\" width=\"800\" height=\"534\" \/><\/p>\n<p>During Sayyid Badr&#8217;s meeting with Mr Grli\u0107-Radman, the Ministers reviewed relations between Oman and Croatia and discussed ways to strengthen and develop those relations in various fields. They also discussed regional and international developments of common interest.<\/p>\n<p>The two meetings were attended by Ambassador Munther Almandhari, Head of the Foreign Ministry&#8217;s Europe Department, as well as officials from Sweden, Croatia and Oman.<\/p>\n<p>This is an unofficial English version of an Arabic report.
