{"id":8084,"date":"2023-09-18T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2023-09-18T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/archive.fm.gov.om\/8084\/"},"modified":"2026-03-22T15:32:16","modified_gmt":"2026-03-22T15:32:16","slug":"oman-chairs-us-gulf-ministerial-meeting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.fm.gov.om\/en\/8084\/","title":{"rendered":"Oman chairs US Gulf ministerial meeting"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Sultanate of Oman chaired in New York today a joint ministerial meeting between the Foreign Ministers of the countries of the <a href=\"https:\/\/staging.ofm-archive.com\/policy\/multilateral-relations\/#GCC\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Gulf Cooperation Council<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.state.gov\/biographies\/antony-j-blinken\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Antony Blinken, US Secretary of State<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Gulf representation was headed by <a href=\"https:\/\/staging.ofm-archive.com\/ministry\/about-us\/key-figures\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, Oman&#8217;s Foreign Minister<\/a>, with the participation of <a href=\"https:\/\/gcc-sg.org\/en-us\/GeneralSecretariat\/Generalsecretary\/Pages\/Current.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jasem Mohamed AlBudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The meeting discussed the Gulf-American partnership and cooperation in the political, economic and security fields.<\/p>\n<p>There was also an exchange of views and consultation on various regional and international developments.
