{"id":6104,"date":"2023-06-25T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2023-06-25T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/archive.fm.gov.om\/6104\/"},"modified":"2026-03-22T11:31:37","modified_gmt":"2026-03-22T11:31:37","slug":"political-undersecretary-receives-austrian-foreign-ministry-official","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.fm.gov.om\/en\/6104\/","title":{"rendered":"Political Undersecretary receives Austrian Foreign Ministry official"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sheikh Khalifa Ali Alharthy, \u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/staging.ofm-archive.com\/ministry\/about-us\/key-figures\/#Khalifa\">Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs<\/a> received <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bmeia.gv.at\/en\/the-ministry\/the-secretary-general\/\">Peter Launsky-Tieffenthal, Secretary General of the Federal Foreign Ministry of the Republic of Austria.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>During the meeting the Secretary General expressed his deep thanks and appreciation to the Sultanate of Oman for its recent role in <a href=\"https:\/\/staging.ofm-archive.com\/o7dv\">the release of Austrian citizens from the Islamic Republic of Iran<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Sheikh Khalifa and Mr Launsky-Tieffenthal also reviewed bilateral cooperation in political, economic and cultural fields, as well as way to enhance that cooperation.<\/p>\n<p>They also exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of common interest.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting was attended by Christian Brunmayr, Austria&#8217;s departing Ambassador to Oman and Munthir Mahfoudh Almantheri, Head of the Europe Department at Oman&#8217;s Foreign Ministry as well as Omani and Austrian officials.<\/p>\n<p>This is an unofficial English version of an Arabic report.
