{"id":5539,"date":"2023-03-06T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2023-03-06T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/archive.fm.gov.om\/5539\/"},"modified":"2026-03-22T11:30:21","modified_gmt":"2026-03-22T11:30:21","slug":"his-majesty-inaugurates-royal-academy-of-management","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.fm.gov.om\/en\/5539\/","title":{"rendered":"His Majesty inaugurates Royal Academy of Management"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik today presided over the official inauguration of the Royal Academy of Management in the ministries\u2019 district in Al Khuwair.<\/p>\n<p>Upon his arrival at the Royal Academy\u2019s headquarters, His Majesty was received by Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court and Chairman of the Royal Academy\u2019s Board of Trustees; Dr Ali bin Qassim Jawad Al Lawati, the President of the Academy and members of the Academy&#8217;s Board of Trustees.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-26361\" src=\"https:\/\/archive.fm.gov.om\/wp-content\/uploads\/230306Royal-Management-Academy-scaled-e1678122014733.jpeg\" alt=\"His-Majesty-inaugurates-Royal-Management-Academy\" width=\"2272\" height=\"1920\" \/><br \/>\nAs a gesture to mark the opening of the Academy, His Majesty placed a symbolic key on the model of a gate.<\/p>\n<p>His Majesty then toured the Royal Academy of Management\u2019s facilities. The 5-storey building has multiple spaces that are designed to enhance collaboration, efficiency and inspiration among the various teams at the Academy. The building has been modelled to offer an interactive, functional and smart user experience for both employees and the Academy\u2019s wider community.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"RTL\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.omannews.gov.om\/images\/topics\/story-images\/6405db6b28f4e.jpeg\" data-filename=\"230214-RAMVisit-DRC-10.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Focusing on creating an enabling environment for both working and learning, natural light and green spaces offer a healthy working environment, while smart systems and meeting capsules create an ideal space to facilitate virtual meetings. The gift, inspired by the inauguration event, embodies the Academy\u2019s official opening gate. It conveys a balanced openness to the world while maintaining national originality. The gate, in its essence, reflects strength and influence \u2013 it also features a key that indicates a crossing into the future with determination.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"RTL\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.omannews.gov.om\/images\/topics\/story-images\/6405db6b3816e.jpeg\" data-filename=\"230214-RAMVisit-DRC-24.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The official opening ceremony was attended by various members of the Royal Family, Ministers, the Chairs of the State Council and the Shura Council, Undersecretaries, members of the Board of Trustees and the Academy\u2019s International Advisory Board.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-26388\" src=\"https:\/\/archive.fm.gov.om\/wp-content\/uploads\/HM-opening-the-Royal-Academy-of-Management-scaled-e1678177433698.jpeg\" alt=\"HM-opening-the-Royal-Academy-of-Management\" width=\"1024\" height=\"664\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Royal Academy of Management enjoys His Majesty Sultan Haitham\u2019s Royal patronage, following its establishment by a Royal Decree on January 11th, 2022.
