His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, exchanged orders and commemorative gifts at Al Alam Palace this evening on the occasion of the Jordanian monarch\u2019s visit to Oman.<\/p>\n
His Majesty the Sultan conferred on King Abdullah II “Oman Civil Order\u2014First Class”, one of Oman\u2019s loftiest accolades, as a manifestation of His Majesty the Sultan\u2019s esteem for King Abdullah II and in appreciation for the strong ties binding the two countries.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, King Abdullah II awarded His Majesty the Sultan the Supreme Order of the Renaissance, one of the greatest knighthoods of Jordan, in demonstration of the monarch\u2019s admiration for His Majesty the Sultan and in appreciation for the sincere ties of friendship between the two countries.<\/p>\n
Then His Majesty presented a coveted Omani dagger as a commemorative gift to King Abdullah II, who reciprocated the gesture presenting His Majesty with\u201cAal Al-Bayt Holy Quran\u201d.<\/p>\n
The orders and commemorative gifts\u2019 exchange ceremony was attended by Her Highness the Honorable Lady Assayida Ahd Abdullah Hamed Al Busaidi, Spouse of His Majesty the Sultan, and Queen Rania Al Abdullah.<\/p>\n
