{"id":1432,"date":"2021-06-03T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2021-06-03T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/archive.fm.gov.om\/1432\/"},"modified":"2026-03-21T14:38:27","modified_gmt":"2026-03-21T14:38:27","slug":"oman-and-palestine-hold-political-talks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.fm.gov.om\/en\/1432\/","title":{"rendered":"Oman and Palestine hold political talks"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sayyid Badr Hamad Albusaidi, Foreign Minister, held a session of political talks today with Dr. Riyad Najeeb al-Maliki, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the State of Palestine.<\/p>\n<p>The session reviewed bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and how to promote them. It also discussed the recent developments in Jerusalem and the occupied Palestinian territories.<\/p>\n<p>Sayyid Badr underscored the solidarity of the Sultanate\u2019s government and people with Palestine, reiterating the Sultanate\u2019s constant stance that supports the Palestinian cause in establishing an independent country with East Jerusalem as its capital, as per the two-state solution and the relevant international resolutions.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-9345\" src=\"https:\/\/archive.fm.gov.om\/wp-content\/uploads\/3F1A8993a-6.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"533\" height=\"355\" \/><\/p>\n<p>From his side, the Palestinian Minister conveyed the thanks and appreciation of the Palestinian leadership and people for the Sultanate\u2019s supportive stance towards their cause and the Palestinian people\u2019s right in establishing an independent state. He also applauded the Sultanate\u2019s condemnation of Israeli assaults, as well as the efforts the Sultanate is exerting with both Arab and international parties in a bid to achieve peace based on the principles of international law and the two-state solution.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting was attended by Tayseer Jaradat, Palestine\u2019s Ambassador to the Sultanate and a number of officials from both sides.<\/p>\n[sc name=&#8221;social-sharing-bar&#8221; ]\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The session reviewed bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and the means of promoting them.
