His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik met this morning in the Indian capital, New Delhi, with a number of prominent business figures in the Republic of India.<\/p>\n

During the meeting, His Majesty and the business executives exchanged opinions on various economic and commercial issues.<\/p>\n

His Majesty urged his guests to explore the promising investment opportunities in various sectors in the Sultanate of Oman and to benefit from its many competitive incentives.<\/p>\n

The business leaders expressed their great honour to meet His Majesty, adding that the meeting will help to increase trade and investment between Oman and India.<\/p>\n

The meeting was attended by Abdulsalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, Chairman of Oman Investment Authority (OIA); Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion; Engineer Salem bin Nasser Al Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals; Pankaj Khimji, Adviser for Foreign Trade and International Cooperation at the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion; Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al Hinai, Ambassador-at-Large at the Foreign Ministry, and Issa Saleh Abdullah Alshibani, Oman’s Ambassador to India.<\/p>\n
