The Sultanate of Oman has sent its sincere condolences to the Government and people of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan over the bombing that targeted a political rally in the Khyber region in the northwest of the country.

A Foreign Ministry statement sent the Sultanate’s sympathies to the families of the victims and its sincere wishes for a speedy recovery for the injured.

The statement reaffirmed the Sultanate ‘s condemnation of violence and terrorism in all its forms.
