The Foreign Ministry welcomes the agreement between the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Republic of Turkey to raise the level of diplomatic representation by appointing resident ambassadors in both countries.

In a statement the Ministry said that the move, in accordance with the rules of international law, demonstrates mutual respect and enhances cooperation and understanding to serve the interests of dialogue and prosperity.
