Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Diplomatic Affairs, received Daren Tang, Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) in Muscat today.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed areas of cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and WIPO in the intellectual property sphere.

A letter of intent (LOI) was signed between the Foreign Ministry and WIPO dealing with training Omani diplomats in the field of intellectual property.

The meeting was attended by officials from both sides.
