The Foreign Ministry expressed the Sultanate of Oman’s condolences to families of victims and the people of the Arab Republic of Egypt over the attack which targeted  a security checkpoint in the city of Ismailia. It wished the injured a speedy recovery.

The Ministry affirmed Oman’s firm stance in condemning violence and terrorism in all its forms and whatever its motives.
