His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received today Liz Truss, the UK Foreign Minister.

During the meeting, cordial conversation was exchanged and the historical relations of friendship binding the two countries were reviewed.

Discussions also explored ways of promoting these relations towards broader horizons of bilateral cooperation to serve the interests of the two friendly peoples of Oman and Britain.

They also exchanged views on issues of interest to both sides in light of current international developments.

The audience was attended by Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, Foreign Minister; Sayyid Faisal Hamoud Al Busaidi, Adviser at the Diwan of Royal Court and Bill Murray, the UK Ambassador to Oman.
