Oman at Ministerial Council to prepare for GCC Supreme Council

Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi headed the delegation of the Sultanate of Oman to a session of the GCC Ministerial Council preparing for a meeting of the Supreme Council of the Leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council states.

The Ministerial Council, held in Doha, capital of the State of Qatar, was chaired by Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister. The meeting was attended  by GCC Foreign Ministers and the GCC Secretary General.

The preparatory session dealt with topics of concern to the GCC states, as well as the most pressing regional and international issues. These will be presented to the 44th session of the Supreme Council on Tuesday December 5th with recommendations for progress and to strengthen security and stability in the region.
