Italy: Embassy holds a reception

Nazar Al Julanda Majid Alsaid, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Italian Republic, held a reception on the occasion of the fifty-third National Day.

The event was attended by: Dr Angelo Ficarra, Vice President of the Italian House of Representatives; Dr Simone Guerrini, Adviser to the Presidential Palace; Lorenzo Tortona, Diplomatic Adviser to the Prime Minister, Dr Qu Dongyu, Director-General of the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO), and a number of figures in the Italian government.

The ceremony was also attended by a number of political, economic and military figures in Italy, as well as heads of Arab and foreign missions, international organisations, university presidents, academics, media professionals, artists and Italian intellectuals.
