Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs, met with Ms Abda Sharif, the recently-appointed British Ambassador to Yemen, at the Foreign Ministry in Muscat.

The meeting saw an exchange of views on the latest developments on the issue of Yemen and the efforts bing made to find a political solution that achieves security and stability for both Yemen and the countries of the region.

The meeting was attended by a number of UK and Omani officials.
